Brining your vision to life
Open Street Festival
A community street festival for 5000+ patrons, delivered for the Port Kembla Chamber of Commerce.
The Open Street Program was an initiative of the NSW State Government to support councils and business chambers across NSW to temporarily close streets and bring them to life with community events and activities. Holy Pavlova were engaged to deliver a family-friendly street festival for the Illawarra Region, which included live music, roving entertainment, makers markets, pop-up bars and food courts.
We love stepping up to a challenge, and we love bringing our own flavour to projects. To make this event stand out we proposed street-wide architectural projection mapping, hitting the facades of historical buildings and insides of local venues. A crowd favourite includes an art gallery projection which was accompanied by live instrumental music, bespoke to the visual content.
Open Street Festival was one of our favourite projects, enabling us to flex different muscles and work with a large variety of stakeholders. The event was a major success, making headline news across local papers and we hope to welcome it back another year.
Chloe Christine
Having spent time on stage across Australia’s best country music events, including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Chloe is an enigmatic voice who can both hold a crowd and fade gently into the background.
